Add an Image Gallery

Firstly, all images must be uploaded into the control panel:

1. From the drop down ‘Welcome’ menu, choose ‘Control Panel’
2. On the left hand side, under ‘Content’, click on ‘Image Gallery’
3. Add images to an existing folder by clicking on that folder, or add a new folder by clicking ‘Add Folder’.
4. Inside the folder, click ‘Add Image’
5. Follow the prompts to upload images (multiple images may be uploaded at once)
6. For the image gallery itself, take note of the path to the folder that the images are located in. e.g. Folders > Our Community > Community Venues

Return to the site and navigate to the page that will hold the image gallery

1. From the drop down ‘Welcome’ menu, choose ‘Add Portlet’
2. Click on ‘Media’ and locate ‘Image Gallery’
3. Drag this portlet into position on the site
4. Click the ‘…’ option on the top of the portlet and click on ‘Preferences’.
5. Select the containing folder by navigating through the expanding menu.
6. The path will display automatically in the ‘Image Gallery Folder’ textbox
7. The appearance of the gallery can be configured on this page also: background colour is usually #fff (white) and border/highlight colour can be removed completely if desired.
8. Remember to click ‘Save’
